Nurture Your Child’s Natural Curiosity with a Personalized Montessori Homeschool Program

What is Montessori Education?

Montessori education is a child-centered approach designed to cultivate independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. Created by Dr. Maria Montessori, this philosophy empowers children to explore at their own pace through hands-on, meaningful experiences.

Instead of external rewards and rigid expectations, Montessori nurtures intrinsic motivation. We encourage children to take ownership of their learning. They care for themselves and their environment while building confidence as capable, independent thinkers.

Montessori programs often include a nature component to include outdoor learning and farm-based programs, but this approach works beautifully in any home environment.

Do I need to invest heavily in materials?

One of the most empowering aspects of Montessori is that the philosophy matters more than the materials. While Montessori classrooms often include beautifully crafted learning tools, many of these can be simplified or adapted at home.

We’ll focus on creating purposeful, child-accessible spaces rather than filling your home with costly items. I can help you prioritize what to make, what to repurpose, and where to find affordable resources when needed — often spending no more than you would on a traditional homeschool curriculum.

What will Montessori look like in my home?

Embracing Montessori extends beyond dedicated classrooms. The key is to create an e nvironment that supports independence: child-sized shelves and furniture, accessible materials, and a calm, inviting atmosphere.

Together, we’ll design a learning space that reflects your family’s values, encourages exploration, and empowers your child to take charge of their learning journey.

What can I expect from a consultation?

Montessori is all about individualized learning. In our initial consultation, I’ll learn about your child’s interests, strengths, and current skills. There are no “shoulds,” - there are no “oughts,” - just starting points for growth.

From there, I’ll guide you step-by-step to create a tailored learning plan, including suggestions for materials, environment setup, and practical activities you can start right away. You’ll receive links to affordable resources and instructions for creating materials at home, often using items you already have.

Initial consultation: $50
Follow-up support: $25/hour

I am always available to you via email support.

Whether you’re just beginning to explore Montessori or ready to fully commit, I’m here to help you build a joyful, purposeful homeschool experience.

“The child gives us a beautiful lesson – that in order to form and maintain our intelligence, we must use our hands. ” - Maria Montessori
